MARSHALLING

Marshalling of judges, arranged through the Inns, is a good way to get exposure to the profession. Marshalling involves shadowing judges in court and in conferences, and will last anywhere from a day to a week. For marshalling, apply through your Inn.

It is recommended that you have a dark outfit for court. Don't forget to address the judge formally (unless you are invited to be informal) and to send a thank you letter to the Judge after the experience!
